What is the Temporary Sponsor Bank? It is a listing of OAers willing to carry the message of recovery to the newcomer or other OA members seeking interim sponsorship. Who may use the Bank? Any member of the Fellowship. Sponsors may encourage sponsees new to sponsorship to sign on as a temp. OAers with time limits may wish to use the Bank to give back as available. Or, OAers needing a contact while a sponsor may be unavailable may use the Bank to find a sponsor for a few days, a week, or a month. What ever your circumstances, what ever time you may have available, say "YES" now to service and join the Temporary Sponsor Bank. How do I list my name as a temporary sponsor? Contact Jmel at 914-725-7013 TO FIND A TEMPORARY SPONSOR, CONTACT THE BANK. A suggestion to IG reps: it really works to pass around a sign up sheet for temporary sponsors at your meeting and give it to Jmel yourself. One of our reps did this and it seemed to work well, we got 9 people to sign up. Click here to print a sign-up sheet which you can bring to your meetings to pass around.
