This is a brief description of the services provided by each of the WUIG Committees: 12th Step Within Committee:Providing information, opportunities amd programs designed to help those wanting to gain or keep their recovery from compulsive overeating.Food addiction/compulsive overeating is a disease of shame and isolation. Please don't chose to live in that place. We are a fellowship and fellowship is defined as a union of peers or friends. Your peers and friends are here to help you!! Let us know what you need and now we can help. Please click here to obtain a form which you can fill out to give service to get additional help. The 12 Step Within Committee will do their best to fulfill any request. All information will be handled confidentially. Public Information (PI) Committee: (click here for more information)Getting the word out in our community about OA's program of recovery is critical for the OA Fellowship to continue. The goal of this committee is to educate the public existence of OA. Newsletter Committee:The Newsletter Committee... Speakers' Bank Committee: (click here for more information)The Speakers' Bank Committee helps individual meetings find speakers and gives individual OA members an opportunity to do service to speak at meetings. Temporary Sponsor Bank Committee:(click here for more information)The Temporary Sponsors' Bank Committee maintains a list of OA members willing to carry the message of recovery to newcomers or other OAers seeking interim sponsorship.
